A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO ALL THE MOTHERS

To the Mothers, Seen, Unseen, Remembered, Becoming.

Today, I offer no greeting card platitudes. Just a quiet, reverent bow to the sacred work of those who mother.

To the women who have shaped us not only through birth, but through presence, through unwavering love, through fierce protection and quiet sacrifice.

To the mothers who are becoming, still learning their way into the role. To the ones who were never called “Mom” but carried, healed, fed, and loved like one. To the grandmothers whose wisdom hums in our bones.

To those who mother in grief, mother in memory, mother in absence, and mother from beyond.

To the woman who stood between the world and her child so the world wouldn’t bite too hard. To the ones who never had enough but still gave everything. And to those whose love set us free, rather than holding us back.

Today is not a celebration of perfection, but of endurance, of becoming, of holding the center when everything else unravels.

May you be seen. May you be cherished. May you be allowed rest. May your name be spoken with gratitude.

Happy Mother’s Day. From the soul, not just the tongue.
