SANRAL HOSTS “TAKING SANRAL TO THE PEOPLE” ENGAGEMENT SESSION

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), in partnership with the City of Johannesburg, will host an information sharing session with small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) to introduce its upcoming projects on the N1 and N3 national roads in Johannesburg.

Aptly titled Taking SANRAL to the People, the session will also provide an opportunity for SANRAL to unpack its sub-contracting and job opportunities, as well as share updates on its routine road maintenance (RRM) projects in the city.

The Taking SANRAL to the People programme is a unique platform for SANRAL to provide an overview of economic opportunities that arise from its projects and engage stakeholders on its transformation agenda. This is in line with the road agency’s fourth pillar of Stakeholder, which requires it to consult stakeholders about all project-related activities in their communities. The consultative sessions also help SMMEs to position themselves to access opportunities from SANRAL’s national road network.

The details of the session are as follows:

Date: Thursday, 20 March 2025
Time: 10h00 – 13h00
Venue: Roodepoort City Hall, City of Johannesburg
RSVP: Lerato Moloi on 067 598 3456 or moloil@nra.co.za
